I think the boss zombie (Brute) is one of my favourite bosses of all time in zombies. I went to round 30 on my very first playthrough without even knowing about the Weapons of Rock (granted I'm a pretty good zombies-player) You have all kinds of side quests that you can do, but they aren't mandatory to get to a high round or just do well in general. It has so much replay-value it's unbelievable. Zombies in Spaceland is a fantastic on-disk map. It also gives you something to listen to while playing. Every map has a unique setlist fitting the theme of the map, and most of the songs are fantastic. The soundtrack in zombies is, in my opinion, the biggest improvement from Treyarch zombies. But I really don't mind that, as the characters are entertaining to play as. For example, Poindexter is a nerd in Spaceland, but in Shaolin, Poindexter pretty much screams "♥♥♥♥ you!" What I don't like about them, is the lack of real character development behind them. The characters have a different personality in each map, which I really enjoy. I have an unpopular opinion on this matter, as I actually like these characters and the way they were handled. In IW, the double PaP just makes the weapon a bit powerful and gives it more ammo, so it isn't stupidly broken like AAT was in Black Ops 3. I also prefer the new double PaP mechanic over Treyarch's Alternate Ammo Types. You don't really get stuck on zombies anymore, as you can just kinda squeeze through them, but the zombies hit faster and are overall just more aggressive. I also like how they changed a few game-mechanics inside of zombies. Every single trap is unique in it's own way, all DLC-weapons were added to weapon loadouts and to every zombies map, none of the Fate and Fortune cards were OP as hell, the ranking system doesn't have prestiges but it has 999 levels, and the weapon variants from multiplayer keep the zombies-experience fresh and interesting. Infinity Ward had some really good improvements over Treyarch zombies. All you need to know about them is that, IN MY OPINION, some of the maps are better than Treyarch maps. I'm not gonna review the DLC maps, because it would take far too long for me to do so.

I have over 25 days played on Black Ops 3 zombies thanks to the season pass maps and chronicles. Zombies:This is where the game really shines for me. Outbreak - ♥♥♥♥ this stupid-ass gamemode xd Well I don't care, you silly mongoose :) This list is for me to keep track of my personal records, not you. The only difference between this one and the one in Black Ops and World at War is that it now has 256 rounds in reserve ammo instead of 192 rounds."But Noge, I don't care about your high rounds >:(" When Pack-a-Punched it turnes into the Afterburner. The MP40 makes a reappearance in the map Origins for Call of Duty: Black Ops II for 1300 points. In Call of the Dead it is available off of the wall on the ship. Indeed, if ammunition supplies are an issue, then the lower rate of fire may even be a blessing in disguise. The MP40 deals superior damage per round than any other SMG, which helps mitigate the lower rate of fire. With or without the upgrade, the MP40 has a lower rate of fire than the Cold War-Era SMGs and even the World At War variant, making Double Tap Root Beer worthy of consideration. As in Der Riese, the MP40 in Kino der Toten can be upgraded via the Pack-a-Punch Machine to become "The Afterburner", with a doubled magazine capacity and increase to damage and rate of fire. It has a 32 round magazine with 192 in reserve. In both maps, it can be bought off of the wall for 1000 points. The MP40 also makes an appearance in the Nazi Zombies map Kino der Toten, as well as in Call of the Dead. Even after the upgrade, players will often run out of ammo in the middle of a round, leaving them vulnerable.Ĭall of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops II When placed in the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it becomes "The Afterburner". However, its recoil is significantly reduced compared to the campaign and multiplayer versions. One of which is the slow rate-of-fire, which can easily be remedied with Double Tap Root Beer. In the later rounds, players will frequently run out of ammo, and the weapon itself has several drawbacks. Like the Thompson, it is a powerful weapon in the early to mid rounds. It resembles the Thompson, but has higher damage and a larger magazine with a lower rate of fire. It is available from the Mystery Box, and can be bought off the wall for 1000 points in all levels, with the exception of Nacht Der Untoten.

The MP40 is a German submachine gun that appears in all Nazi Zombies World at War levels.
